About
A small software label. Nothing fancier.
The Clever is an indie software label. Every app inside it is built by one person — Hazel Quimpo — using Claude Code. It's not a company. It's not a studio. It's a label.
We borrow the word "label" from music, where it means a trusted curator with a consistent eye. You know roughly what to expect when you see something on a label you trust. That's what this is.
The apps don't share code or infrastructure. They share an aesthetic, a philosophy, and a maker. Each one solves a specific problem for a specific kind of person. None of them are enterprise software. None of them are trying to become unicorns. They're built to be small, warm, and actually useful.
One maker, one eye for craft.
Every app feels like it came from the same hands because it did.
Solve one problem well.
No feature creep. No scope bloat. No enterprise edition.
Build warmly.
Software should feel like it was made by a person. Because it was.
Small, by design.
These are not venture-scale apps. They're priced for the people who actually need them.
